Once you have the bracket in your hot little hand,  don't stop by simply posting it on your refrigerator. The Supreme Executive Committee offers a few suggestions for helping spread the Lent Madness word.

1. Post a copy of the bracket on the front door of your church. In fact, why stop at your church? Channel your inner Martin Luther and nail the bracket to the doors of every church in your neighborhood.

2. Get the bracket tattooed to your back. You'll be a big hit when you go swimming at the

3. Mail them out with all your Christmas cards this year. "Lent Madness: It's the Reason for the Season."

4. Go to the mall and put them under the windshields of every car in the parking lot. For Jesus.

5. Get front row seats at televised sporting events and hold up the bracket. Consider it the new John 3:16 sign. Rainbow wig optional.

6. Staple a copy of the bracket to your dog's collar and let her roam around the neighborhood sans leash.

Feel free to share other ideas (with photo documentation) of course. They may just end up on the Lent Madness Facebook page.

Don't forget to order your very own 2015 Lent Madness Bracket Poster! They're just $10 each, or pay only nine bucks if you order two or more. 1. seriously? well- i have heard of maybe 4 of these "saints". it will be fun to find out what ...oh-gregory the illuminator did. and that navigator fellow. who would look best on a mug will maybe be my reason to vote for someone. and you say these "bracketeers" are "saints? in what book? you guys dug deep this time!! Bravo!

  2. Two weeks ago, a 10 year old girl in my formation class asked me, "When is Lent starting? I want to play Lent Madness again." This was followed by her response, "Eerrgh! I have to wait until February?!?!" I am delighted to be able to give her this time to do saint research on Sundays!

  3. Also delighted to have an official annual bracket day. It happens to correspond to my eldest child's birthday, so I'm sure to remember it.

  4. Oooh the challenge of choices. I will really have to research to learn about some of these obscure saints. Which Barbara? Which Elizabeth ?

  5. I've been waiting all year... ok, not quite all year, but a long time... for this! I think it's one of the best ways to get people involved in learning about the saints and to be quite honest, it's an extremely easy discipline for Lent! Thanks for all your work on this!

  6. Is this a little like Christmas creep where holiday marketing starts a earlier and earlier each year? (I saw x-mas wrapping displays the day before Halloween this year:()

Now we are gearing up for Lent before Advent?

As it appears that you boys have a little time on your hands, why don't you ramp up an Advent game? maybe a baseball theme? same bracketology

  7. I am going "ga ga" today with the revealing of the 2015 LM bracket! Woo hoo! Speaking of ga ga, as we know the singer, Lady Ga Ga, is quite innovative with what she wears, why not consider making an outfit with the 2015 LM bracket and wearing it proudly!

  8. Glad to see Molly Brant on the bracket! And I'll be ready to defend her when she's attacked for being a Loyalist (you know that's gonna happen).

  9. Oh Joy! Oh Bliss! What rapture is this! My happiness knows no bounds for the best is not yet to come.....It's here!!!!! The official bracket for one and all to peruse and I'm happy, happy, happy!!!!! In fact, I'm too giddy for my own good and I need my COFFEE.....NOW! Thank you Padres!

  10. Frederick Douglas cake walk. I think Brazil had a harder time making it to the round of 16 then old FD to the halo in this one.

  11. Is it the same Cecilia I would pray to with the nuns prior to my weekly piano lesson? I wait with baited breath...

  12. I am so glad you allowed plenty of time for all the research I am going to have to do. I don't even know whether the illuminator is literal or metaphorical. So many saints, so little time!!!!! (I am a teacher, and you have seriously cut into my lesson planning.)

  13. David Oakerhater falls on my birthday so I already have a favorite. Well, that and his saintliness.

  14. Woohoo! Brendan made it...! On behalf of all sailors everywhere, thank you. Semper Paratus.

From snowy St John the Baptist's in Thomaston, Maine

  15. Glad to see the brackets out early because it will take a lot of research!!! This is my second year to play. Last year I didn't do enough research and study...I intend to do better this year. This is a great project-thank you!!!!

  16. St. Barbara, the Patron Saint of Artillery, will have many redlegs supporting from around the world!

  17. I am so excited to have the brackets. I see many familiar names and many unfamiliar ones. Now I know what my Advent reading will be. This is a lot more fun than learning about the candidates for governor.
