Monday Madness -- February 3, 2020

Well, friends, with the Super Bowl in the rearview mirror, it's time for another action-packed episode of Monday Madness! This week Tim and Scott toss viewers a Hail Mary by explaining why it's okay to play Lent Madness during the somber season of Lent. They also answer a "viewer" question about how they make a living doing this (spoiler alert: they're never retiring). And of course, there's plenty of time for shameless promotion of the Lentorium.

With only 22 shopping days left before Ash Thursday (aka the Lent Madness "kickoff"), it's time to get your very own giant bracket poster or Saintly Scorecard (single copy, bulk copies for savings, or ebook for your favorite Kindle device). Scorecards are as low as a buck each, and the bracket poster is only $10 if you buy two or more. Visit the Lentorium to see the full range of merchandise, including Golden Halo winner mugs.

This is down here for social media sharing. Enjoy!

  1. Dear Tim & Scott - I was deject & wretched that you did not chose my candidate, St. Columba of Loch Ness Monster fame & MUCH more, but see you couldn't since you've got St. Patrick. God know I gave you enough historical info & reasons! (See my notes to you during nomination period.) I also would favor St. George in future.
Was also deject & wretched for 15 min or so when I did not win last remaining on earth Frances Perkins mug which was up for lottery. Was this a mistake? Is there a carton of them yet remaining in basement? Please advise. XXBB - L

    1. While you are looking for the carton of Frances Perkins mugs, could you also see if there is an extra Florence Nightingale mug? (I graduated from Nightingale Junior High School in Los Angeles in 1953.)

  2. I am so looking forward to Lent Madness. Counting down the days. Just received out giant bracket posters and our really cool lent madness travel mugs. Can't tell you how much better my morning coffee tastes in them.

  3. I vote to bring back the Frances Perkins mugs! As the Secretary of Labor, she is the patron saint of Human Resource professionals. Surely Lent Madness followers know an HR person they can give one to.

    1. I, too, want another Frances Perkins mug. So many D.C. trips by her building. Workforce training, marketing, board education. She was a professional idol.
